K-FLEX® ST ANTI-CONDENSATION TAPE

K-FLEX_ST-TAPE_1

K-FLEX ST Anti-Condensation Tape is a high-performance, self-adhesive insulation solution designed to prevent moisture buildup and energy loss in demanding environments. Made from highly flexible closed-cell elastomeric foam (FEF), it provides a built-in vapour barrier that eliminates the need for additional protective layers

Key Benefits & Features

  • Superior Condensation Control & Efficiency: Features high water vapour resistance (>7000) and low thermal conductivity (0.033 at 0°C), preventing condensation and conserving energy.
  • Safety & Durability: Offers Euroclass B-s3, d0 or Class 0 fire ratings, with a dust, fibre, mould-resistant, antimicrobial, and chemically resistant composition.
  • Easy Application: Features a strong, pressure-sensitive adhesive ideal for sealing joints, seams, and complex pipe fittings.

Technical Specifications

  • Material: Closed-cell NBR foam, typically 3mm thick.
  • Performance Range: Suitable for temperatures from -40°C to +85°C.
  • Dimensions: Available in 3mm (thick) x 50mm (wide) x 9m (long) rolls.
  • Corrosion Resistance: pH Neutral.

Common Applications

  • HVAC & Plumbing: Ideal for sealing all insulated chilled water lines, insulated refrigeration pipes, and insulated cold water ducts.
  • Specialized Environments: Suitable for clean rooms, hospitals, and residential projects due to its hygiene-friendly, fibre-free nature.

K-FLEX® AL CLAD SEALING TAPE

KFLEX_AL-CLAD_TAPE
K-FLEX AL-CLAD Sealing Tape is a premium, multi-layered self-adhesive jacketing and sealing tape specifically designed for both indoor and outdoor insulation protection. Unlike standard foil tapes, the AL-CLAD system features a robust, PVC-aluminium covering that provides a durable, shock-resistant finish that can regain its shape even after mechanical pressure.

Key Benefits & Features

  • Weather & UV Resistance: Engineered for outdoor longevity, the AL-CLAD foil offers approximately 11 years of UV stability and acts as a waterproof barrier against harsh atmospheric agents.
  • Chemical & Corrosion Protection: The surface is highly resistant to aggressive chemicals, including various acids, salts, and petroleum.
  • High-Efficiency Seal: With an exceptionally low vapour permeability (0.052g/m²/d), it prevents moisture ingress and eliminates thermal bridges.
  • Mechanical Strength: It is designed to be puncture-resistant and robust, protecting underlying insulation from physical abuse and crushing during handling.

Technical Specifications

  • Temperature Range: Suitable for temperatures from up to.
  • Total Thickness: Approximately 0.28mm (+-0.05mm).
  • Tensile Strength: High longitudinal and transverse resistance (approx. 175N/15 mm).
  • Fire Rating: Typically achieves Euroclass CL-s3, d0 (for pipes) and Class 0 ratings when used on the K-FLEX AL-CLAD System.

Common Applications

  • HVAC/R: Essential for sealing joints and seams on ventilation ducts and large refrigeration pipes to maintain airtight integrity.
  • Industrial Plants: Protection for outdoor piping in oil, gas, and marine environments where saltwater and weather exposure are common.
  • Complex Geometries: Its high flexibility allows it to adapt to awkward shapes, elbows, and “T” connections without losing its protective seal.
