The K-FLEX® ST AG system is a specialized, high-performance insulation solution that pairs the thermal excellence of K-FLEX® ST elastomeric foam with a factory-applied Aluminum-Glass (AG) cloth backing.
This integrated system is specifically engineered for projects requiring enhanced mechanical strength and a superior vapor barrier without the complexity of traditional metal jacketing.

- Base Material: High-quality K-FLEX ST flexible elastomeric foam (FEF).
- Cladding Composition: A high-performance laminate consisting of 7 micron Aluminum foil, specialized fire-retardant adhesive, and a 90gsm Glass Cloth reinforcement.
- Temperature Range: Suitable for applications from -165C to +110C for Tubes and up to +85C for Sheets and Rolls.
- Thermal Conductivity: Exceptional insulation performance with a lambda value of 0.033 W/(m K) or less at 0C.
- Water Vapor Diffusion: Provides a high resistance to moisture ingress with a base rating of mu 10,000 or greater, further enhanced by the aluminum-glass vapor barrier.
- Fire Classification: Achieves high safety ratings with Class 0 (BS 476 P6/7) and Euroclass certification for low smoke and flame spread.
- Mechanical Strength: High tensile strength of 255 N/25mm, providing excellent resistance to tearing and puncture.
- Surface Finish: Bright, reflective silver finish for improved aesthetic appeal and radiant heat reflection.
- Permeability: Extremely low permeability, making it an ideal choice for preventing Corrosion Under Insulation (CUI).
